There are a lot of upsides to working at IMO Health, according to Client Services Technical Specialist Carmel Esmailzadegan. Talented coworkers, a culture that cares about both professional and personal growth, and regular mindfulness sessions top the list. But three years in, his proudest IMO Health moment was born from a natural disaster. Carmel shares how he helped one client through some difficult circumstances and introduces us to his fluffy co-worker, Tobi, in this short In My Opinion video.

Carmel Esmailzadegan joined IMO Health in November 2019 after working in hospital information systems as a financial analyst and in health information management (HIM). He graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, received his Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential, and is happy to be making a positive impact on healthcare systems and providers. In his free time, he loves spending time with his wife, Angelica, playing music, going to concerts, and cooking. As a member of the Baha’i Faith, he enjoys visiting the House of Worship in Wilmette, IL.
